Dear Nini Friends,
I hope you are all well!
After a few eventful months I am finally on track in the production of Nini iv - Rainy Days. The doll body has been completed and awaits the casting of the head. I am working on the colouration of the resin / plaster mix for the heads to give a closer match to the body colour. This is an interesting challenge, but I believe I am succeeding.
The Rainy Days outfit has been roughly sketched out and the patterns drawn up. I'm very excited to be cutting them from my various pieces of fabric. It has been waiting patiently for me for a few months! I hope that I can do them justice and fashion them into something as beautiful as I hope for.
All being well, I hope to have Nini vi ready for sale by late November. If you are interested to see her development, please do keep checking in to see some updates and photographs of the work in progress.
